City of Bradford Xmas Meet
A small number of our swimmers competed at the City of Bradford Xmas Meet at Shipley Pool. This was quite a high level meet with swimmers coming from all over the north of England. Some photographs were taken by a member of COBSC and can be seen here.
Barnsley Xmas Sprint - December 2009
A team of 11 girls went down to Ponds Forge to compete for the first time in the annual Barnsley Xmas sprint meet. Accompanied poolside by Neil & Rick they had an excellent meet with lots of pb's, some trophies and quite a few speeding tickets. Photo's can be seen here.
Rising Stars Gala - November 2009
A large squad of 34 swimmers aged 8-13 years emerged as the top team at the latest Rising Stars Gala at Shipley Pool. Lots of pb's and some really good head to head races. Photo's can be seen here.
Rotherham Open Meet - September 2009
A small group of hardy swimmers, under the watchful eye of Andy and Richard, made their way down to Ponds Forge for the Rotherham Meet. For some of them, it was their first swim at such a large meet but regardless of this fact, they all performed extremely well. I am sure Andy and Richard were far more exhausted after the day's events than any of the swimmers. Photo's can be seen here!
