New Member Joining Procedure

All swimmers wishing to join the club must first arrange for a trial via the Club's Lead Development or Competetive Coach's to confirm they meet the necessary swimming standards as set out by the clubs committee. As stated on the home page, we are not able to offer learn to swim lessons, but instead choose to coach swimmers who are able to demonstrate solid foundations in all four strokes, commensurate with their age.

If the trial is successful and you wish to proceed to become a member of the club you must comply with the BSC Member Code of Conduct, complete the following forms and return them to the Club Membership Secretary. Dependent upon the ability of a prospective swimmer, membership will only be offered if there is space within the squad relevant to their capabilities. If no space is available the swimmer will be placed on a waiting list.
